How do I make friends online?

I have people to talk to but i don't have any online friends because they are hard to make

1. I f you want friends online just e-mail them ask them to connect and you should have a good friend if you want you decide if you want them or not and if you want me as a friend just e-mail me and I will be your friend for friendship !
2. Just like this I guess? or make you a facebook or myspace page and start adding people, I know there is alot of mean people out there, but there are some nice ones too that wont mind being your friend. You can message me if you want someone to talk to. Hope you find some friends.. :)
